Fire & Brew opened in 1981 as Sharon's, located in the 1800 block on Harrison Ave. Our original store sold Schrader Wood Stoves and cleaning supplies, which complemented the founding business, Master Cleaners of Butte.
In 1982, realizing that the wood stove business was somewhat seasonal, we incorporated a pet store into our mix and became Sharon's Stoves and Animal Specialties.
In 1983 we moved to 1710 Grand Ave. and remained there until 2007.
In September of 2002, after 20 years in the pet business, we closed the pet department and replaced it with a homebrew shop. Thus becoming Sharon's Fire and Brew.
In April of 2007 we joined forces with Jake & Jeri Hart in their building at 5200 Harrison Ave. Harts RV. Dropping the Sharon's from our name, we are now--Fire & Brew. We built a new, warm and inviting fireplace showroom, with 14 live burning units. Living up to our slogan, we can really "Relax By the Fire and Enjoy a Homebrew" and we invite you to join us!
